For this project, a concrete staircase was chosen. The entire staircase structure is made of concrete, with the steps crafted from oak wood. The balustrade is made of steel, featuring a modern and playful design.

The process of a concrete staircase

If you are interested in a concrete staircase, it is important to give this careful attention early on. The structure (the concrete) must be poured by the contractor during the construction phase of the home. This is highly precise work and must be carried out by a professional. The challenge lies in creating uniform risers and treads, referring to the depth and height of each step. For a high-quality final result, it is crucial that these dimensions are consistent for every step.

After the concrete is poured, measurements for the staircase steps and balustrade can be taken. We carry out all measurements in-house.

Once the concrete has properly dried, it can be finished by the plasterer. Millimeter differences can also be corrected at this stage.

Once the concrete has fully dried, it can be finished by the plasterer. Any millimeter differences can also be corrected at this stage. During the measurement, we will indicate which steps require extra attention, if necessary.

We recommend installing the steps once construction is complete and no building materials will be carried up the staircase.
