MH-Trappen is part of Mio Home BV. For many years, we have focused on producing luxury design staircases for private clients, offices, contractors, architects, as well as the hospitality and hotel sectors. We install staircases throughout the Netherlands and West Flanders. Sustainability and quality are our top priorities.

We manufacture in-house in Poland at a factory specialized in staircase production. This factory focuses on creating everything from basic custom designs to exclusive designer staircases. Professionalism is our goal throughout the entire production process. Specialized staff, including many skilled craftsmen, form the heart of the company. They are combined with a modern machinery park, enabling a production capacity of 260 staircases per month.

The wood used for production is first dried and steamed in-house. This process ensures that the wood is highly durable and strong.

Our production process utilizes a modern machinery park, including CNC machines, allowing your staircase to be manufactured with a precision of 0.1 mm. The technology we use guarantees a very high quality and finish for your staircase(s).

Our interior designers are happy to assist you in creating your dream interior. By combining craftsmanship with the latest woodworking technologies, we bring your dream staircase to life. With us, you can achieve unique and timeless designs.

Working Method

Price Estimate

You can request a price estimate from us by providing your preferred interior style, your desired staircase model (if known), and the dimensions of your stairwell. If the price estimate meets your expectations, we are happy to invite you to our office. This allows us to get to know you and review your staircase project in detail. Appointments are by arrangement only, ensuring you receive personal attention and time.

Measuring

Once the price estimate and preliminary design are approved, our in-house constructor will visit the location to measure the space(s). Based on these measurements, we can create the technical drawings and provide you with a fixed price (quote).

If you approve the final design, we will, if necessary, perform an additional production measurement.

Delivery Time

The delivery time is approximately 5 to 7 weeks after approval of the technical drawings and the invoice. Your staircase will be carefully installed by our skilled craftsmen. From that moment, you can enjoy your custom-made designer staircase.

Materials

Most of the staircases we sell are made from oak, beech, and ash wood. In addition, we can also provide several types of hardwood upon request.

We work exclusively with hardwood. For budget-friendly staircases, this means that our most affordable wood type is beech. We do not use pine or spruce.

By treating the wood with oil, stain, and/or paint, these types of wood are available in a wide range of finishes. During a consultation or the staircase measurement, we can also advise you on these finishes.

In addition to our extensive wood selection, we also work with glass (safety glass), steel, and wrought iron. This allows our staircases to be made from a wide variety of materials and combinations.
