This modern staircase is made of oak and has the appearance of a block staircase. Traditional stringers are still located beneath the stairs to support the structure. Only the steps are glued at a 90-degree angle and therefore do not have the so-called nosing.
For the finish of the oak, a natural oil from the brand Osmo was chosen. The client also requested the addition of a shoe cabinet, which was custom-designed to their personal taste.
Design balustrade for a modern staircase
The design balustrade installed on the cabinet, as well as the handrail on the wall, is made of strip steel and is also referred to as the “spiderweb design.” The unique aspect of a spiderweb balustrade is that each one is truly one-of-a-kind. The balustrades are handcrafted, with the wires placed and welded randomly during production. As a result, no two balustrades are the same, ensuring you receive a unique product. This type of balustrade is perfect for a modern staircase, adding a playful touch to the clean lines of the staircase itself.
