A modern oak staircase with thickened steps. A contemporary staircase that complements many interior styles. As the first sentence indicates, the staircase is entirely made of oak and treated with a clear oil. We often use oils from the brand Osmo, which are available in a wide range of colors and finishes.
Construction
In this design, the stringers are not visible and are placed beneath the steps, a method we also call “supporting the steps.” This approach is chosen to create as few lines as possible, in line with the goal of achieving a modern oak staircase. The balustrade consists of a plaster wall that was installed during construction. The client requested an additional handrail on this wall. A steel strip handrail, powder-coated in black to match the window frames of the home, was chosen for this purpose.
Custom kitchen
For this project, we were also able to deliver a stunning designer kitchen. The kitchen is made of dark-stained oak, with ultra-matte spray finish using nanotechnology (anti-fingerprint coating), and TIN metal coating. Curious to see more project photos?
