A beautiful example of a modern white block staircase. The staircase is made of beechwood and sprayed in the client’s desired color. The staircases are sprayed in our own spray shop and then finished with a hardener. This way, you don’t have to worry about the varnish.
Glass balustrade
The modern staircase features a glass balustrade that is attached to the side of the stairs using adapters. The balustrade continues onto the landing, creating a calm and cohesive look within the home. To keep the staircase as transparent as possible, no handrail was installed on the glass or the walls. From certain viewpoints, the balustrade almost disappears into the overall design.

As a gadget, LED strips were integrated into the steps. Every second step is fitted with these strips, making the staircase not only extra safe in the evening but also spectacular.
The installation of a block staircase
Not every home is suitable for a “real” block staircase. This means a staircase that is self-supporting, without the help of stringers. For a block staircase, we install so-called steel pins in the wall prior to assembly. These are then chemically anchored. In some cases, we opt for a steel stringer construction with steel pins. After installation, the stringer is plastered together with the wall, making it invisible. In this particular case, the walls are tiled.
When this type of construction is not possible—because, for example, there is no load-bearing wall—it is still possible to create the illusion of a modern block staircase using underlying stringers. In this case, the steps are also glued together at a 90-degree angle. This ensures the block staircase effect remains.
