The staircase is constructed from oak and beech wood. Beech is often used for painted finishes because of its smooth surface and fine texture. For this staircase, the beech components have been painted white. The oak is finished with a transparent, natural lacquer, creating a beautiful combination of clean white and warm wood tones. The natural appearance of the oak is well preserved.
